I lost my compassion in 2020. I don't know where bitterness crept in, but I opened the door and asked for it to make itself at home. Kick its feet up. Hang out. Chill.
I can seriously hear the dishes singing, "BE OUR GUEST!" Month after month… Disappointment after disappointment, there it finally was. A faint and mighty purple line. God is good.
Sometimes, I honestly look around and feel lonely. Moving to Raton has been an easy obedience to follow because the Lord has opened doors we normally would try and pry open. Yet, it is a hard obedience to follow after having a taste of community in Clovis. I ask myself and I wonder if one day I won’t feel let down and lonely in Raton.
